GOALS OF MEDIA WORKING GROUP :
• To raise the profile of the Society using all available media.
• To raise awareness and facilitate a public response on issues related to Caribbean bird conservation.
• To provide ongoing support and training in media relations to interested members and local partners/collaborating organizations.
• Maintaining a network of media contacts for the region.
• Responding to features in the media with respect to birds, as the situation requires.
• Soliciting, disseminating and producing:
• Press Releases
• Feature articles for education, advocacy, and publicity.
• Presentations, interviews, and special features for radio and television.
• Organizing press conferences and other media events as required.
• Develop a photo library where photos may be stored and used for media and other SCSCB activities as needed.
